Firing Schedule

OneFire Sterling PMC is ready to use right from the package. Create work in the same way you work with any other metal clay, then allow it to dry completely. This can be done naturally, for instance overnight, or you can hasten the process by using a gentle heat (e.g. mug warmer) or a dehydrator. Set the work on a firing shelf, refractory wool, or vermiculite and fire at

1650˚F (900˚C) for one hour

Because heat can leak out of the space around a door, we suggest placing work toward the back of the kiln. When firing multiple pieces, put the thicker items closer to the walls.
